About

Via the plants, The School of Forest Medicine has been dreaming itself through me for several years. During many of the Plant Teacher Circle meditations that I have led bits of information about the things I needed to do to prepare myself and prepare the foundations for others to do this work would be revealed. In the summer of 2009, I was able to do deep work regarding my relationships to the plant spirits that I work with. I was asked to face my fears about fully embodying this work in the world, but I was assured that, "Now is the time."

I want to express my deep gratitude to all of the plants who have shared their wisdom and powers of healing with us, and to all of those who have supported this work, especially those of you who showed up week after week to create the space with me to allow these beings of the forest to manifest themselves in our lives.

Our Mission

To provide a forum for people to deepen their relationships with themselves and with the plants of the Pacific Northwest and to open and strengthen channels of communication between the human and spirit realms. To make this way of being in the world available to all who are interested. To establish rituals based on working with the spirits and ancestors of this land through song and medicine so that we and our children can be truly initiated, i.e. fully attuned to the spiritual matrix of the place where we live.
